The Ministry of Awe is an externalized expression of an existential bank.
MoA exists because dreams with no form are hard to share and don’t last. And what’s the true value of currency if not shared?
We, the group of 100+ artists led by visionary Meg Saligman, realized the value we hold as a collective entity by transforming an abandoned 19th century bank in Philadelphia into an immersive art and story experience.
We did together what we could not do alone. We wove this work from and with the history of the Frank Furness-designed historic building, the birthplace of American banking and Independence, from ourselves and the essence of Philly itself.
