SMS / Text Messaging Privacy Addendum - Ministry of Awe

This SMS/Text Messaging Privacy Addendum (“SMS Addendum”) is part of the Privacy Policy of Your Agency, Inc. d/b/a Ministry of Awe (“Ministry of Awe,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It explains how we collect, use, and share information in connection with our text messaging programs (the “SMS Program”).
1) Information we collect for SMS
When you opt in to receive text messages from us, we may collect:
Your mobile phone number
Opt-in details and consent records (such as date/time, the webpage/form or keyword used, and the type of messages you opted into)
Message interaction data (e.g., delivery confirmations and engagement metrics where available)
Any information you provide by replying to our messages (e.g., help requests)
2) How we use SMS information
We use SMS information to:
Send transactional messages related to your ticket purchase or attendance (e.g., purchase confirmations, reminders, updates, customer support)
Send marketing messages about Ministry of Awe (e.g., promotions, events, announcements), if you opted in to marketing
Provide customer service and respond to inquiries
Operate, maintain, secure, and improve our SMS Program
Maintain compliance records and prevent fraud or abuse
3) Consent, message types, and disclosures
By providing your mobile number and opting in, you authorize the Ministry of Awe to send you text messages at that number.
Transactional texts may include ticket purchase confirmations, reminders, or operational updates.
Marketing texts (including automated marketing) are sent only if you provide the required consent.
Message frequency: Varies (based on your purchases and subscription preferences).
Message and data rates may apply.
Consent is not a condition of purchase.
4) Opting out and getting help
You can opt out at any time:
Reply STOP to cancel.
Reply HELP for help.
After you opt out, you may receive one final message confirming your opt-out request. We will honor opt-out requests as required.
5) Sharing of SMS information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
We may share information with service providers that help us operate the SMS Program (such as messaging platforms, carriers, customer support tools, and analytics providers). These providers may access and use information only to perform services for us and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing.
We may also disclose information if required to comply with law, protect our rights, prevent fraud, or respond to lawful requests.
6) Data retention
We retain SMS-related information (including opt-in records and messaging logs) for as long as necessary to:
Provide and administer the SMS Program,
Maintain business and accounting records related to ticketing and customer service, and
Demonstrate compliance with applicable laws and industry requirements.

7) Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect SMS information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9) Changes to this SMS Addendum
We may update this SMS Addendum periodically. The “Effective Date” above indicates when it was last revised.
