Yes. No. Define real. Ministry of Awe is a real immersive art experience created by real artists that you can really visit for a fun and brain-tickling time. It is not a “working bank,” but it’s located in a pretty old one. MoA is one of a kind.

MoA is intended for all ages and levels of engagement. While not specifically designed for children, there’s plenty of easy-to-access art, explorable play spaces, interactive elements, and performers that will engage young imaginations. Children’s tickets are available and children under 2 are free.

No. MoA is not a haunted house or escape room. Moments inside the experience can feel dramatic, perplexing, silly, ecstatic, and mysterious, but there will be no jump scares or sense of mounting pressure.

MoA is not pet-friendly, but welcomes all registered service animals with their “account holders” aka visitors.

Bring an open mind, comfortable shoes, and maybe a friend, or two.

For the safety of our staff and guests and to keep the space clean, the following items are not allowed in the building:

• Bad attitudes

• Weapons of any kind, including: Firearms of any kind, including concealed carry, pocket knives, pepper spray and spiked jewelry.

• Vape pens or electric cigarettes (vaping is not permitted inside the building or exhibit)

• Cigarettes, cigars, or pipes (smoking is not allowed inside the building or exhibit)

• Outside food and beverages, alcohol, flasks, or other containers. Empty water bottles are ok! We have water refill stations inside. 

• Gum

• Recreational or illegal drugs, including recreational or medicinal cannabis

• Markers, stickers, or spray paint

• Strollers. Guests are encouraged to “baby-wear”

• Large bags, Luggage, and backpacks.

• Skateboards and Heelys shoes

• Professional recording equipment, drones, selfie sticks, or tripods

GROUPS

We do offer group visits. In order to assess availability and pricing, please complete this form and we will reach back out to you shortly with more detailed information or any follow-up questions.

Beginning September 1st, we are excited to start hosting your events in the Ministry of Awe!

We welcome:

• Catering

• Alcohol

• DJ/Entertainment

We can not: 

• Allow decorations to be fixed to any of our art

• Offer event planning

Renting our space offers:

• Access to the 6 floor experience

• Basic PA system with a wireless microphone.
